Food: Apple, Pear, Rose, Rowan.
Comments: Hedya ochroleucana has been determined to be strictly Palearctic. North American populations probably comprise at least two unnamed species with ranges as yet undetermined with any precision. H. consanguinana was selected as it represents a population previously described from the west coast (California). There may also be one or two undescribed species from eastern locations (Massachusetts and Nova Scotia).
